com/about-us/ Job Description The Powder Coat painter is responsible for all material and day to day operation of a 450' conveyorized powder line with 3-stage wash system, dry-off oven, spray booth and cure oven.
You will be part of a 4 person team, responsible for a coating of all ramp material fabricated on site.
Responsibilities - Ensure safe operation of powder coat system in accordance with all applicable health and safety regulations - Maintain and improve quality control systems to guarantee high quality finish on all product leaving the facility.
- Monitor all aspects of chemical wash, dry-off oven, spray booth, cure oven and conveyor line to ensure continuous high quality operation.
- Identifies opportunities for process and product improvement, as well as cost containment.
Qualifications - Minimum 1
years as a powder coater.
- Understanding of quality control metrics including but not limited to - adhesion testing, coating thickness, application coverage, powder curing characteristics.
- Comprehensive mechanical understanding of machinery and ability to anticipate and troubleshoot machinery to maintain continuous workflow without delay.
- A can-do attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow and see problem-solving as an opportunity for improvement.
-Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach, perform repetitive hand and finger movements and lift up to 75 lbs.
