The Quality Improvement and Compliance Department at May Institute is a team of professionals committed to leading the continuous evaluation of organizational systems, through a team oriented approach, in a collaborative effort to ensure practices are safe, effective, efficient, ethical, comply with established laws and industry standards, meet the needs and expectations of our customers, and promote the ongoing improvement of service outcomes and quality.
Position:
Quality Improvement Specialist (Home, School, Center-Based and Educational Services- Randolph)Responsibilities Facilitates Program Management Meetings for assigned programs and as requested for other sites.
Serves as a liaison between the Department and assigned programs Triages and screens program reported safety/risk management concerns (e.
g.
incidents, allegations of abuse/neglect, environmental) Conducts various types of audits independently and according to monitoring plans Participates in accreditation and licensing preparation activities Participates in organizational committees as assigned Collects, analyzes, and presents quality related information and data to stakeholders Assists in performance improvement projects as identified by assigned programs or as assigned by QI management staff Requirements Bachelor's Degree High degree of organization and independence Ability to work on a team as well as independently Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and team building skills Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills Ability to research and interpret applicable state laws, regulations, and funding source requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to independently travel to sites throughout Massachusetts and scheduled trips to other locations outside of Massachusetts Experience with non-profits preferred Experience with operational aspects of insurance based services preferred Other details Pay Type Salary Apply Now Randolph, MA 02368, USA Recommended Skills Analytical Auditing Communication Conflict Resolution Microsoft Office Performance Improvement Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
