35 an hour 2 hours ago 2 hours ago 2 hours ago The Lyons School is looking for 2 cafe office aides that are organized, can support the school policy and rules, facilitate the lunch blocks managing a busy cafeteria with approximately 100 studentsOur cafe office aides are responsible to maintaining a safe, calm cafeteria for all of the scheduled lunch periods.
They are expected to help students get their lunches, help students open containers and lunches, manage student behavior, and help students clean the tables and area around them.
Before and after lunch, the cafe/office aides will work in the office answering phones, supporting our administrative assistant, working with parents as they arrive in the office and assisting as needed.
Organizing files and distributing notices is often a task.
The cafe office aide should have experience working with children and be able to use strategies to calm, deescalate and engage students in making positive behavioral choices.
3 hours per day, school year position.
Salary & terms per the Unit D Education Support Personnel Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
